The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind. A great book needless to say. Basically about a kid who changed the world. William Kamkwamba is the author and the man behind the wheel.

The book starts out with a few introductions to his family. Then goes to some tales and stories about the past.

The middle of the book starts the famine period. Here is where we find the events that led up to the windmill. During the famine William is thrown out of school because his parents could not afford to pay the fees. When that happened William started to go to the schools library, where he read the school books to keep up with his peers.

Along the line of looking for books to read, he found a book based on using energy. The cover of the book had a picture of a windmill. Seeing the windmill, he decides in his mind that he will make one.

Long story short, he eventually makes it and saves both his family, and his village.
