Ever wonder what a camp meeting at Oakwood University looks and sounds like? Well let me tell you: IT’S AWESOME. One cool action packed week of socializing, learning, and never being bored. You get to meet new people and see old friends. On top of this there is a variety of cool classes to choose from, and a whole lot of things to do in those classes, and trust me it is no where near like school. Well maybe a little but way better. Longer breaks, more food, better snacks and and did I mention more time to socialize!!!! At first when we arrived at the registration booth I thought this was just going to be another boring predictable year of camp meeting. But once I saw the classes I could sign up for and all the other activities they had this year, I switched from meh mode, To OH YEAH mode. They had Spanish, Cooking, Life Skills, Balloon Making, you know, like they do at the carnivals and those other places? Where was I… Oh yeah. Gardening, Media classes, and who can say no to BASKETBALL CAMP, especially when you’re old enough to do it? With the way camp Meeting was and the fact that VBS is around the corner, I have high hopes.
